What happens to your statement
It is read, converted, and deleted. Nothing in it is kept.
In detail
The PDF is held in memory and written to a temporary file only for the few hundred milliseconds the text extractor needs it. That file is deleted before the response is sent, whether the conversion succeeded or failed. The spreadsheet is streamed straight to your browser and not stored.
No transaction, name, address, account number or balance is logged. The only records kept are: a salted hash of your IP address to track the free monthly conversion, the bank name and whether the conversion succeeded (for improving the parsers), and purchased keys with their remaining count and the email Stripe reports at checkout.
Payments are handled by Stripe; card details never reach this service.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. The free-conversion allowance is tracked by a salted hash of your IP address only.
PDPA
We operate under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act. Because statement contents are never retained, there is no personal data from your file for us to access, correct or delete after a conversion. For the limited data we do hold (purchase keys and the email Stripe reports), write to statementsheets@proton.me to request access or deletion.
Hosting is in Singapore where available. If a bank's layout changes and a conversion fails, the failure is recorded as a bank name and a date only. If you want a specific layout supported, send a statement with the personal details blacked out; the layout is all that's needed.
